Drunken Lemurs

A guy got fired for posting a Dilbert cartoon on a bulletin board at work that compared managers to drunken lemurs. The company then tried to deny him unemployment benefits because they claimed that he was being malicious.

Good Job George!

President Bush compounds the mistake his predecessor and pushes Kosovo into independence and gives us Europe's first Muslim nation. In the process he further annoys Russia by interfering in what it views as it's front yard - Serbia. You might remember a former war was sparked by events in the same country.

Why would Bush do this? He thinks he is appeasing Muslims in the middle east by offering up Kosovo - which has been part of Serbia for hundreds of years. When will he learn that they do not care and view any concessions we make as weakness.

We are lead by a fool and the prospects for his replacement are worse. And so drums on the last years of the Roman Empire.

Amy Winehouse Grammy Performance

I found a good copy of Amy Winehouse's performance from the Grammy's. I think it might be better than Kanye's when you consider that her songs seem better than the studio recordings.

Sharia Law Begins To Blanket Europe

Spengler documents the pall of sharia law that has begun to descend across England and other parts of Europe. And what do you get from the government - no go zones for non-Muslims. And from the Archbishop of Canterbury tacit acceptance of it's inevitability.

Perhaps the wave of Catholic immigrants from South America will be our salvation after all. I see a future with only a Godless Chinese empire and our own continental island of Americas standing against the rising hoards. I guess a policy of allying and unifying North and South Americas is our only hope. I fear this will leave us with a more socialistic government but this might be the lesser of the evils.

As you can see I am very optimistic today.

Sniper Convicted In Killing

This article illustrates how this administration continues to prosecute our own soldiers at an astonishing rate. He is guilty of planting evidence on the man that he killed but he would not have done this if he wasn't operating under such ridiculous rules of engagement. He acted to protect himself and his team, but I guess he should have waited until one of our people was killed before doing something. How could he have known that the man was not a scout for the armed group?

This is what happens when you try to fight a war with your hands tied behind your back. We learned nothing from Vietnam. Our leaders have no stomach for what needs to be done and no stomach for the consequences of the actions that they do actually take. So our boys lose their lives and their freedom to pay for the sins and weakness of our leaders.

Thoughts From The Grammys

While suffering through the Grammys I was pleasantly surprised by a couple of artists. Feist was very interesting - you will recognize their single "1234" from the IPod commercial.

Amy Winehouse was very good. I had heard of her but had not heard her music until tonight.

And finally there was Kanye West...while I would prefer that he would just shut his mouth and go to hell, I must say he had the best performance of the night. It was definitely a moment. His stage show was really cool and the songs were great. God help me.

The Global Warming Con Job Rolls On

This link leads to a great article from Accuracy In Media that goes over some of the more atrocious bad science and propaganda that pervades the Global Warming Myth. Particular attention should be paid to the trillions and trillions of dollars that IPCC says it needs to combat global warming. This is money that they want to take from us through taxes - on a global scale. This is what the whole thing is about: ecosocialism. They are coming for your money with a peace sign, a smile and a gun loaded with guilt.
