President Bush compounds the mistake his predecessor and pushes Kosovo into independence and gives us Europe's first Muslim nation. In the process he further annoys Russia by interfering in what it views as it's front yard - Serbia. You might remember a former war was sparked by events in the same country.
Why would Bush do this? He thinks he is appeasing Muslims in the middle east by offering up Kosovo - which has been part of Serbia for hundreds of years. When will he learn that they do not care and view any concessions we make as weakness.
We are lead by a fool and the prospects for his replacement are worse. And so drums on the last years of the Roman Empire.
