Oil Shale

I was doing some research on our oil reserves (we don't have any to speak of) when I came across Oil Shale. this really seems like something we should be using to get rid of the oil imports. It will give us a stop gap so that we can get off the hydro-carbon habit. We have the #1 reserves of oil shale that could probably get us through 50 years or more.
